I just purchased this product at my local headshop, and just like everyone else I have the same mentality of "you get what you paid for". First let me start off by saying that I already own a volcano classic, and enjoy all the great highs it gives me. I go on the road often with my band, and since I have given up completely open flame smoke for vaporization, taking a chillum with me and having to use a lighter is just not an option for me anymore.
I looked into the IOlite's, the Oxygen Mini, the Vapor Genie, and other vaporizers that fall within the portable category, but I have read reviews that equal 50/50 about the products, so how is this portable??? Well it's not, but it's about a third of the size of a volcano and using a Duracell Pocket Inverter 175, being the size of a regular cell phone, well it's basically a very good portable vaporizer, that plugs into your ligher in your car using the inverter. Total cost of both items was 140 dollars.
So why did I go with a no-namer??? Cause the bigger companies use the cheaper parts that cost a fortune to replace, and plus you pay for their name. Now nothing against volcano, but the 70 dollars that I spent on this product is very well worth it(I know it's cheaper online, but I have less then 24 hours before I hit the road), it does the job just as good-if not better than my volcano, and plus it has the digital gauge, and you can't beat that for the price. I usually put my volcano on 7.5-8.5 depending on the herb. Now I have been reading that for any good vaporizer the best operating temp is 375F+, I started mine on 350, and was able to get about 4 good hits off of less then an amount that would cover the surface area of a dime, which is way less than some other vaporizers I have smoked out of, including my volcano (but it's also about preference). I got a very great high off of it, and I can say that I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!!! Actually I might end up liking it more than my volcano, cause I am really up there right now. If you buy one trust me you won't be dissappointed, and remember 350 degrees fahrenheit...
On one last note, it's cheap enough that if something happens it's easier to replace the whole thing than it is to replace parts on my volcano... And the whip it comes with is way better then any 40 dollar+ whip at the headshops... I wanted to give this review and make it lengthy cause other reviews are just about 2 cents worth...

Better than most $150 machines that look the same. BUY CAREFULLY! I bought a look alike machine by EASY VAPE that was junk and cost more. I took it back and got the vt-820, and it comes with extra screens

Yea i got one yesterday... It deff takes a little longer than 3 mins for it to heat up. I just thought i would clear that up. The first time took around 10 mins (give or take). i was satisfied with the performance of the product and would recommend this to a friend.
